RENTAL AGREEMENT

This Rental Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between Dhun ("Lessor"), the owner and provider of musical instruments and related equipment for rent, and the customer renting such equipment ("Lessee").

By placing a booking, making payment, accepting delivery of the Equipment, or otherwise confirming the rental, the Lessee acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by this Agreement, together with Dhun's Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy available on the website. This Agreement shall remain effective from the date the Equipment is delivered to the Lessee until the Equipment is returned to and accepted by the Lessor, and all outstanding dues, if any, have been settled.

Equipment

The Equipment covered under this Agreement shall be the instrument(s) specified in the booking confirmation, invoice, or order summary issued by the Lessor. The Lessor shall ensure that the Equipment is inspected and is in good working condition prior to delivery.

Booking & Payment

A booking shall be deemed confirmed only after the Lessor confirms the availability of the Equipment, the Lessee completes the required payment, provides the applicable security deposit, furnishes any identity verification requested by the Lessor, and accepts this Agreement. The Lessor reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking where incorrect information has been provided or verification requirements are not satisfied.

Rental Period

The rental period shall commence on the agreed delivery or pickup date and shall continue until the Equipment is returned to and accepted by the Lessor after inspection. Any request to extend the rental period shall be subject to the Lessor's prior approval and the availability of the Equipment.

Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit shall be collected before the Equipment is handed over. The Lessor may adjust the security deposit towards unpaid rental charges, late return charges, repair costs, replacement costs, or any other amount payable under this Agreement. Subject to inspection and settlement of all outstanding dues, the remaining security deposit shall be refunded within 24 hours of the successful return of the Equipment.

Responsibilities of the Lessee

The Lessee shall keep the Equipment in safe custody throughout the rental period and shall use it only for its intended purpose. The Lessee shall not dismantle, modify, repair, tamper with, sell, pledge, transfer, or sub-rent the Equipment without the prior written consent of the Lessor. The Lessee shall promptly notify the Lessor of any malfunction, damage, accident, loss, or theft involving the Equipment and shall exercise reasonable care to prevent avoidable damage.

Late Return

The Equipment must be returned on or before the agreed return date. In the event of a delay, additional rental charges calculated at the applicable daily rental rate shall accrue for each day until the Equipment is returned. Such charges may be deducted from the security deposit. Where the outstanding amount exceeds the security deposit, the Lessee shall remain liable to pay the balance.

Damage, Loss & Theft

The Lessee shall remain solely responsible for the Equipment from the time it is delivered until it is returned to and accepted by the Lessor. If the Equipment is damaged due to negligence, misuse, unauthorized repair, improper handling, loss, theft, or is not returned, the Lessee shall be liable for the cost of repair or, where repair is not reasonably possible, the full replacement value of the Equipment. The Lessor reserves the right to recover any outstanding amount remaining after adjustment of the security deposit.

Inspection

The Lessor reserves the right to inspect the Equipment before dispatch and upon its return. Photographs and videos may be recorded during these inspections and may be used to determine the condition of the Equipment and assess any applicable repair or replacement charges.

Delivery & Collection

Delivery and collection services shall be subject to availability. Delivery charges shall be determined based on the delivery location and communicated before confirmation of the booking. Responsibility for the Equipment shall pass to the Lessee upon delivery and remain with the Lessee until the Equipment is returned to and accepted by the Lessor.

Cancellation & Termination

The Lessor reserves the right to cancel or terminate this Agreement if the Lessee provides false information, breaches any provision of this Agreement, fails to return the Equipment, or engages in fraudulent or unlawful activity. Such termination shall not affect the Lessor's right to recover any outstanding payments, damages, or other amounts due.

Limitation of Liability

The Equipment is supplied after inspection and is deemed to be in satisfactory working condition upon delivery. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Lessor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the Lessee's use or misuse of the Equipment.

Privacy

The Lessee authorizes the Lessor to collect, verify, and process personal information required for identity verification, communication, delivery, payment processing, fraud prevention, and compliance with applicable legal obligations. Such information shall be handled in accordance with Dhun's Privacy Policy.

Entire Agreement

This Agreement, together with the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy published by Dhun, constitutes the complete agreement between the Lessor and the Lessee in relation to the rental of the Equipment and supersedes all prior discussions or communications relating to the booking.
